Bob, Alistair and Dave - thanks so much! Another update to add, with a few weathering touches to the RAF 4a engine.

Cheers,
Gary

I've been following this project closely, Gary, and every single detail is flawlessly executed!  Brilliant in every way.  Believe me, I will be using your RE.8 as a guide when I build mine.
Cheers,
Bud

The engine is simply Brilliant Modeling Gary! Between the Models I saw at the IPMS Nationals and now your build I may just board up My Model Room  ::)

Gobsmacked! That is so realistic that I could easily be fooled into believing that they were photographs of the real items.

I think that I will join Rick and take up another hobby....

With a bit more done on the cockpit of the RE.8 I thought I'd share a couple of progress pictures. The rigging was using Uschi's fine rigging thread and I used one of Barracuda Studio's wicker seats (which some have mentioned they are slightly undersized).
Cheers,
Gary

Totally agree with Rick! Would anyone notice that the seat is a little undersized? I would not!!
