Evening all,
The cockpit is pretty much complete, I’m still waiting on the seat belts before I can progress further, but thought I’d share where I’m currently at. It wasn’t until I’d finished it that I realised I’d used the wrong instrument panel! I’ve used the war time one (not the post war updated version..) I think I just saw the IP on the sprue and didn’t imagine there was an option! But, I won’t lose any sleep on that and I’m too lazy to re visit
Thanks for looking in,
Guy

The interior looks stunning and I don't think Many will Notice the early IP... I know I wouldn't

Really impressive work Guy, great engine and woodwork, beautiful panel, and really appealing leather. Another "stunner' from your very productive shop!

Stunning work all 'round, Guy! The engine and innards are phenomenal! Hope to see her (and you) at Telford!
Cheers,
Bud

Beautiful interieur, Guy. The engine looks very realistic and the wireing is outstanding. The wood tones of the cockpit and the subtile highliting of the parts are great.

Rick, Lance, Bud & Manni,
Praise indeed from the forum elders!
Don’t worry, plenty of time to c*** it up...

I wouldn't worry about the IP - it's just a holdover from the war.

Beautifully executed Guy
I love the warm tone of the wood and the IP is a thing of magic.
Marvellous!

Thanks
All closed up now. I was uber careful putting it together as there are so many components to marry up. All went well though... Phew. The fit was perfect as you would expect from a Wingnut’s kit - I wasn’t worried about that - just my errors/ paint etc.

Fantastic work, as stated by others! I'm not sure what impressed me most, your modelling skills or your speed?!
