When I hear “ugly”, I wonder what you are talking about. It’s looking great! Besides of that my recommendation would be: Choose ugly airplanes and beautiful wives. That’s better than the opposite. :)

Great news! This is one of my favorite planes, because it gives you a clear view into the cockpit AND it is a biplane.

And look at that FE8 in the background of the box art. Great uncle Harold flew 6437 from October 2016 until June 1917 with 41 Squadron. The UK National Archives have a full set of construction drawings and there's Cole Palen's replica. Wingnut Wings, I live in hope.

What a wonderful aircraft to produce a kit of - my hat really is off to WnW for this most unexpected release.

The G1 typifies the golden age of aircraft experimentation (try anything!) perfectly.

Blooming heck!?

Speechless - in a good or bad way I haven’t decided yet  :o

This is not a moan at all, but... I too think a few simple, cheap single seaters wouldn’t go amiss.

Well I suppose we know to expect the unexpected by now!
Doesn't float my boat I'm afraid but I'm sure there'll be many, many more UWDs appearing on competition tables than ever existed in reality - ie more than one!
At least my fears of never seeing a WNW Pfalz Dr1, because only 8 or 9 saw service, have lessened considerably!

I'm with you on the Fe 8 !!!!!  Nice that you have a relative that flew in the Great War like my Amigo Bud, I have a Dolphin that will be done as his Great Uncle's plane. Should a Fe 8 appear, looks 6437 will be on my list.

Will there be a special edition with Dick Dastardly and Mutley?

It's probably the closest thing to one of the cartoon aircraft

To paraphrase Nietzsche: without Wingnut Wings, life would be a mistake.

I used to think the British had the market cornered in ugly warplanes.....

They look like the HP Heyford's long lost cousin.
