hi edgard!
thank you very much! your input is much appreciated!
you are absolutely right ! you have cought me with my hands in the jam!!! ;)
to my excuse I have to say that working with pe is really hard to me... nothing wrong with the model, which is super, but I have not find a way to domesticate it.... So I did not manage to position the belt in a satisfactory way... I tried anhealing it, bending and gluing but it was not satisfactory at all, in the end I was really upset with my self and I thought to throw it in the bin.... then I choose e simpler, but wrong, accomodation ;D
So it will stay as is....

as for the colour of the hatches.... fortunately I am still in time to amend! thank you very much, I really thougt it was metal!

thank you again
ciao

Great progress on the interior Edo. You achieved a lovely weathered fuel tank!
For me the warning regarding the hatched holes comes too late. Annoying, but anyway, it’s hard to see it on the inside.

Good work till now. I may be wrong, but looking at Edgar's picture the inner ring of the maintenance hutch looks a metal plate, while looking at some pictures in the Nieuport Windsock Datafile is visibly plywood. I think it's possible that different batches had different parts or a field modification was applied with a metal reinforcement. I'm going anyway to modify the colour on my one, as probably the original configuration was an all plywood skin.
Ciao

„and speaking of woodgrain, I would like you help on the propeller: were french props as laminated as the german ones? or were they more uniform in colour as the british ones?

Edo, what I learned from Xan is that French props were painted with a red brown color that covered all the wood grain.

I hope that helps.
Best regards

Hi all!
just a quick update on the cockpit side which is now ready.
The only worthy part I'd like to point out is the pulsometer that i enhanced with clear stretched sprue.
I hope you like it

Really like how the pit turned out Edo , very nicely done . The carpet monster will always be lurking ..waiting ..snickering  for that one part to go flying . I have hard wood flooring in my house . No carpet but yet the carpet monster still remains  :-[

Nice job on the engine wiring . Once the engine is in place no would be able to notice it . Good save Edo  :)

Terrific painting and subtle shading, lovely cockpit, and the engine is gorgeous!

Very good detail painting in the cockpit, Edo.  Thanks for bringing up the prop color, as I am building a French plane, also.
