Wing panels and tail/rudder are beautifully painted and weathered! Looking forward to your further progress.

Sorry for the long time between updates.

I have finally buttoned up the nacelle and installed the Beardmore engine. I have added extra piping in and around the engine based on what I can see in the excellent photos provided with the Wingnuts kit. Fit of the cockpit frame was fairly straightforward apart from the bulkhead behind the cockpit and in front of the radiator. I just could not think of a way to get rid of the join line this creates.

Now I just have some final touches and rigging to add before the lower wings go on.

Thanks for the comments. Lower wings are on now, starting on the upper wings and rigging.

I read an article on fitting the wings that suggested that fitting the upper wing in sections may be an easier way to go so I thought I would give it a go.

I have got the wings in place now. All the interwing rigging has been done and now only some of the control lines are left unattached.

There were no issues getting this far and the rigging was fairly straightforward, just a lot of it.

Work on the tailbooms has started, but I think that it will be a slow process as well getting all the rigging right.

So far, it has been an excellent build with everything fitting exactly as it should. I feel i am on the homeward leg now.

Hope you enjoy the photos.

Sorry for the delay in postings.

The tailbooms are together now and I have started to rig them. They attach nicely into the cut outs in the wings and will sit there without any assistance.

I intend to only rig the rear section of the booms and tail plane before attaching to the wings so that I do not build any distortions into the structure. The booms are quite light and flexible and the tail plane and elevators are quite heavy so there is quite a bit of flex here.

I am using .12 mono for the rigging which is stiffening the structure quite well.
