Agree with all of the above - stunning work. I have just finished my DFW engine - the wiring drives me crazy. Yours has come out much better than mine - I'll post my results later this week.

An interesting discussion - perhaps? - I take the distrubutor leads into the outside rim. You take them into the little plugs on the face. I think the leads are gripped by the plugs rather than feeding directly into them? Yours feels like a better option for building as getting the leads into the outer rim where it faces the cylinders and block is really hard. It is a tiny detail and virtually invisible but I am interested in the correct way. Anyone else know?

Cheers,
Alistair

Well, I have seen your engine photos and it seems you taken right decision. Same approach can be found here: https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=1016.0

Getting back..
Further steps with wings covering you can find below. I am thinking of last sanding exercise (2500 or 3000?) to show more linen weathering

regards
K

PS. once looking and bootom part of wings I am not satisfied. I will also do some glaze by lighter tone to equal the level of paint covering

I do like how the top side of the wings turned out , super job . The underside you are right . It is to stark and a toning down would solve this . Will you use a lighter shade of linen ?

That is right Terri. Thus I have done 3 steps more:
-   1500 sanding
-   Lighter linen tone application
-   And umbra dry pigment
Now I need varnish the wings and will be done!

Good Day,

Last update - spoked wheels. The hybrid Gaspatch and gasket approach ;). Not so convincing in terms of the material being used for spoked i.e resin but after the assembly I will check the result
