Very, very nice work! Though the scene is realistic it's a tad gruesome for my taste, but that's just me I guess Nonetheless, the model and the figures look excellent! I agree with you that the DFW is so seldom seen, it's a very good looking aircraft to my eyes and the kit (while still in the box in my case) looks really good. I also got the early version as it also includes the parts for a late model.
I intend to turn it into one one of the Dutch interned aircraft, though that's still far away timewise...

What did you use for the colours? The light greenish-grey looks nice in particular.

Jeroen, yes, it is gruesome, it's war. I never wanted to exclude this fact from my modelling. But like you said, a matter of taste. This time I used Life Color Acrylics that spray a little better than the traditional Vallejo/AK/MiG Acrylics. I can't recall the certain numbers any more, but I used their 04BO Russian greens: the light green-grey is the lightened up version, the dark green their shadowed version. I used Life Color thinner for spraying them. Still, I will stay with my Gunze/Tamiya/Drooling Bulldog/Mr. Paint stuff in the future

Sorry to be a liitle late Andreas but I have been away and am still trying tocatch up. This is another superb example of your original imaginative modelling skill: gruesome but completely realistic. A timely reminder (if one was ever needed) of the horrific realities of war. I realy admire the way in which you achieve this - you use your tremendous skill to very great effect without being "in your face". True modelling at its very best. Congratulations.
