Now if you were building just Roden kits you might have to talk to the guy on the south side.........shouldnt say that. Roden has given us some great topics.

I avoid the guy on the southside at all costs!    :o  Yes, Roden has given us great topics, some require more modeling skills than others, but great topics none the less.

You are right on the mark, Mark! :D
Their Alb DIII is a pretty fine kit, needs a little more "application" then some but still a great subject and enjoyable build.
Cheers,
Lance

We are a bit spoiled arent we? I remember being happy if the 12 parts of a kit actually appeared to be of the same topic.

See Gregory!! You know Exactly what I mean. It was like the 2 guys that made the master werent even in the same room. "George, you go next door and carve the left fuselage half, I'll do the right, dont worry about checking with me, just getter down to production..."

  Steve,
Shh I think we just may have apparently dated ourselves. I used to be such a joy when the new twelve parts (read chunks)  kits arrived . Gave me something else to do rather than drawing on the walls of the family cave. Really rated right up there with fire IMHO.

I was just happy to get a plastig bag that had ALL twelve parts in it, and sometimes, if I was real lucky, the bag also had insructions.

Now, this is really showing my age  :-[ :-[

So Mark, you and I are living to 147 if my math is correct....

Steve

That is my current intention, I may have to petition the almighty for a little more time depending on what kits decide to make an appearance, but so far 147 is my goal presently, cryogenics notwhithstanding.

Mark

I've made my deal already. He won't take me until I finish my kits. (Then I sneak a few more in when He's not looking!) Works beautifully!  ;D
Cheers!

Jim I ended up kinda just centring everything and grinding down the top and bottom. For the longest time I didnt know why the Thunderbolt was called the Jug because it looked just as skinny as all the rest.

I have just spent $442 on WNW kits, ordering those kits that I either don't have already or don't have in other manufacturers.

I feel awfully guilty!
