So I cleaned up the airbrush, mixed up some paint, and this is what I ended up with...






I have started the weathering process using Citadel washes, as that is what I have to hand.

Hello TH:

The color looks great.  I really like your wood tone on the interplane struts, very nice.  This is coming along.  The interior cables aren't all that noticeable, but I certainly understand your frustration.  EZ line can be difficult to work with and if any plastic cement got on it, that would certainly explain the bundle that appeared in your cockpit. 
Looking forward to your next update.
