I have just received WNW Special Offer - Hisso SE5a kit and the SE5/SE5a Squadrons book. Great package!
However, the bad thing is that due to high standing USD vs Polish Zloty, not only the kit was more expensive itself but due to the net price rise it has just jumped into the price category eligible for VAT paying. The effect - the double price rise. Still, the WNW offer is still worth considering, the book is filled with many great photos and info on British SE5as. Good for my library, though not useful for the model I plan to build out of this kit. Polish air force had a brief encounter with two SE5as and I plan to build one of them.

Nice, James!  I believe you're the first I've seen to purchase the post war F2b.  Made me curious as to the overall interest in this kit, so I started a poll.  So many say they don't want it, but I wonder...
Cheers,
Bud

Went to Orange -Con yesterday. Pretty good show, less vendors than last year, but some high quality work displayed. I did get Windsock Datafiles 42, and 56, on the BE2c, and Vickers FB5 respectively.

Hey Mike, I went to Orange-Con yesterday and also bought some Windsock Datafiles. It would have been cool to meet a fellow forumite if I knew you were going to be there! Maybe next time. :)

George, YES! I would have liked to meet a fellow forumite. Short of a badge or pin of some sort, I don't know how to tell easily. I do hope you come down in January for Winterfest.

Winterfest? What and where is that? If there're models there, I'll be there! And I'll wear a red carnation so you can find me. ;) :D
