IntroductionRODEN D.VI is an honest kit for the money. Relatively correct in its dimensions, with sufficient detail for its time (mold of 2005), but with some inaccuracies and shortcomings such as:
- the span of the axle wing
- the bogus step on the horizontal tailplane
- the lack of detail of the cowling
- the lack of rib tapes in the wings
- the complete lack of detail at the bottom of the fuselage
The reason for its construction was the purchase of 2 kits of Dr.I of MENG, one for early and one for late type. Because the kit contains all the parts for the construction of both F.I and Dr.I (early and late) there are enough parts that will not be used in the end.
1.1 Preparing the parts Undercarriage Horizontal tailplane and Rudder coming soon
