Thanks, Martin!  My next challenge will be to try the Fokker swirl.  Someday.
Cheers,
Bud

Thanks, Dan!  A while back, I sent a request to Eduard that they remaster and reissue their Tripe.  They haven't yet, but once I've finished this one, they probably will.  Sods law.
Cheers,
Bud

Progress has been a little slow lately.  Steadily working on things, but not much to really show for it.  Been mostly working on the Eduard wings.  They're okay, I suppose, but I thought they could do with a bit more work.  The ribs on the underside of the wings is represented in the usual Eduard manner of yore, the fabled "starved cow" effect.

Figured I'd knock some of that off and replace it with HGW rib tapes.

Primered and glossed in preparation for the decals.

Rib positions marked with tape.

Rib tapes applied.

The wings were also missing the inspection windows, so I added them.

Covers were made by filling in with 2 part epoxy.  Sorry.  Thought I had pics, but it seems that p.o.s. photobucket ate 'em. >:(

Bud,

Good, painstaking work on detailing up the wings - should look good when all done.

Regards

Dave
