The streaking is inspirational, the best I have personally ever seen.  I have thought about how to do this technique for a long time and you have done it.  I will try to use your technique, when WNW does their Fokker  .  Really really nice work...

I am going to make one very Humble reply. Thanks to all for your comments on the streaking! Although some may be exaggerated  As I stated earlier I attempt to get the general footprint of the streaks right. If I were an accomplished artist like Ondras friend Serge, I hope I spelled that right, it might be even better! I am obviously with Greg Van Wyngarden  on my belief that the F1s were doped blue overall. So I feel comfortable with my results and your support is appreciated.

And I totally agree, F I Fokkers were oveal light blue under their streaking, that's what I had learned "at school" too.

Thanks Amigo! Coming from the Modeler that pioneered streaking,( On Fokker Models that is  ), Your comment is more than greatly appreciated! It was Ed that originally pointed out what we call the "Footprint" on the streaking of individual DR1s. They all are different in application and most of the time photos show the light and dark areas, back strokes, etc. that make them unique!

PS: I also sprayed the cross back grounds CDL and applied the crosses on the undersurface of F1 103/17.

This Dr1 is really first class. With the red wing it will be even better. A wonderful trio of models here.
