Wow, Rick, have you ever "aced" that striping effect, very very nice! Following your Build makes me want to dig mine out and get right at it, but I guess I should finish up my W.12 first, only take me a few days I'm sure! ::)
Keep at her, she's a real beauty!
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks for the very kind comments Lance! I am really looking forward to what you can do with this kit  8)

PS: I mentioned that something was bothering me about the markings. I stared at the fuselage cross decals for a while and it dawned on me that the cross was not centered properly as supplied on the kit decals. So I lifted them off, carefully masked around the serial numbers then painted the white back ground. I used the cross intended for a Pfalz DIIIa rudder.

Let me also drop in with a comment. SE.5a is regular, just fine, well executed. But what you showed with F.I streaking is absolutely amazing, as was put earlier, this is how I imagined the original Fokker streaking! Great modelling, Rick.

Hi Rick! I can only echo the comments by the very knowledgeable modellers above: Fantastic streaking! The SE5A is coming on a treat too! Your fix on the fuselage cross is Above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty, for sure.... Great progress! Regards, Marc

Outstanding!  I have to say, Rick, that your F.1 looks just as I picture it in my mind, based on the photos and written descriptions from McCudden.  You've got the base and streaking just right, IMHO.  That's the way I want mine to look some day! ;)  Very well done.

Best regards,

Bob

Sorry Rick but I have been away and only got back. I can only add to the comments of the others: that streaking is just SO realistic that I have been staring at it for a long time. If you can not do anything else in the modelling sphere, you can certainly show the rest of us how to get that finish right. I am genuinely in awe of what you have achieved there - simply amazing does not do it justice.

Stephen.
