Thanks again Rick

Yes, I’d give the MRP a go, they are the best finish of everything I’ve tried to date. You need to mist on in layers to build up the opacity - but it dries almost instantly, so you can do it in one sitting. They’re not the cheapest, but they do a PC10 and various linen shades, so worth a trial at least.
She’s suddenly come on quickly! As I mentioned before, the Rib stitching effect was bothering me and, whilst I didn’t want to remove it, I did end up toning it down with a very light sanding with a very fine Tamiya sanding sponge (I love these for contoured surfaces!). It’s kept the detail but removed the pin like high points. To my eye, it’s a big improvement. It just takes the edge off the overly raised stitches.
The viewing ports for the internal control pulleys are very well represented, with clear parts and PE. I really like these.
I was worried about the decalling on the wheels (the red and blue circles are decals). I thought these wouldn’t look that good, but in the absence of a circle cutter for masking (I really must invest in one of these - any recommendations?) I went with the decals and was pleasantly surprised how well the came out. The one negative on the decals was I had a slight ghosting of a white surround from the printing being slightly out of register - surprised from a new Eduard kit. Particularly noticeable on the large wing roundels on a dark backdrop. Annoying, but I think I overcame it with some touching up with my breath held!
The telescopic sight is brass tubing, and I glazed the ends with ‘Glue n’ Glaze’ so you can even look through it with a little imagination!
The resin exhausts are exquisite!
‘Just’ the top wing attachment (my nemesis) and rigging and some other detailing to go. I seem to have lost the square windshield. I’ll keep looking, but may have to replace it with the (wrong) rounded one. I’ve also lost the Vickers gunsight

Thanks again,
Guy
