Beautiful job, so far, Filip!  I'm so glad that you started this one.  I'll use it as a guide for when I build mine.  Are you doing it with the wings folded or extended?
Cheers,
Bud

Yes that is going to be pretty large - too large for me I am afraid. However that is not going to stop me following your build log - very impressive so far.

Great start, details painting made them highly realistic.

Once again thanks for your kind words!
Maybe it isn`t the most spectacular update of this thread but it`s almost there to start glueing the fuselage. I`ve prepared the set of the Lewis machine guns. They were painted black (hell yeah) and rubbed with the Mig gun metal pigment. Also, the main petrol tanks were painted and slightly weathered. The most time-consuming part was the internal rigging - it will be not visible in most places anyway.

Best regards
Filip

It is very pretty! :)

Are you going to build it with the wings folded ?

Very eager to see more.

Wonderful work Filip. I look forward to the fusellage being closed so that we can get a sense of the scale of this plane even at 1/48 scale.

Cheers

Filip, your work is fantastic, you made a beautiful kit look much better! I agree with Alistair, can't wait to see your HP taking the form of a plane so that we can see how big is it!
I would indeed buy this kit but I will have problems to put the Bre XIV in my showcase... can't imagine where to put such a giant!

Cheers

Will be watching this one avidly - it was on my radar until the WNW announcement.
Looking forward to seeing this go together before deciding which version to go for.
