CSM Caudron G.4
« on: October 23, 2018, 12:05:00 AM »
Plan to purchase one of these kits, soon.

Anyone know if there are markings for RNAS Caudrons?

And did the RNAS use the float or wheeled versions. I haven't found that bit of info yet.

Thanks.

What is the CMS company?) Never heard of them)
As for RNAS, for sure these markings are not the part of the Caudron G.IV kit from CSM (Copper State Models)
You need to keep in mind that  RNAS Caudron had different rudder shape, engine nacelles (and Anzani engines as well) plus, wingspan was slightly bigger (since Anzani engines were heavier)

Hi Edgar.

Sorry, had a dyslectic moment, as I meant Copper State Models (CSM).

As for being detail specific,, I'm not. No, I would not do up a aircraft the RNAS never used (Bristol Fighter, for example) with RNAS markings. But one they did use, such as the Cauldron, I would, as it is only for my enjoyment. I doubt I will ever get around to posting oics of it anywhere, and anyone who would happen to see it at my house would not have a clue what is was, in the 1st place.

Thanks for catching my error, and at least increasing my knowledge a bit.
