La Reale de France by Heller (1/75)
« on: October 08, 2018, 05:18:03 PM »
Hi guys,
Although it has nothing to do with the great war, I do not want to deprive you of this model. With him, I made the third place (small bronze medal right side) in the same competition as the engine already presented. I hope you like it anyway.

Best regards
Jürgen

Very impressive -and congratulations on the award!
I went googling the ship and it turns out the decorations from the stern are on display in the naval museum in Paris, and gorgeous they are, too!

That's beautiful! I remember, when I was a kit-building-boy, way back when, I loved to watch the sailing-ships in the Heller catalogue: So impressive! But I never got around, building one. Was afraid of that rigging...

Wunderschön, Jürgen!

Heller has a number of very interesting historic sailing ship kits.

They seem to be somewhat overlooked by most modelers, but they are really interesting subject matter.

Well done!
