Junkers D.I WnW 1/32 - First WnW kit
« on: October 08, 2018, 06:48:45 AM »
My first experience with the Wingnut Wings kit is finished and I must admit it was a pure joy!
I`ve used TaurusModels engine goodies and my own hand-carved propeller with a resin hub by ProperPlane.
Painted mostly with Tamiya acrylics.

Best regards
Filip

Excellent model Filip, congratulations on a very impressive Build. The photography is also top notch work, she looks very real in the Black&White shots and the setting is perfect!
Cheers,
Lance

I had a pleasure to see this model in the flesh. Just great modelling all around. Great job Filip and we are looking forward to more of your WNW builds :-)

Wow, just wow! That is a superb model in every way. The worn look around the nose is particularly striking.

Wow, definitely a very nice model, great in all aspects!
And you managed to got nice pictures of a black model, which is also not easy.

But ...
My first experience with the Wingnut Wings kit is finished and I must admit it was a pure joy!
Filip, you changed to "the dark side of the force" :o
So we lost a great 1/48 builder to big scale community  ;)

What a beauty she is, Filip!  Hooked now, aren't you.  I felt the same way after my first WNW kit, the Sopwith Tripe.  Couldn't wait to build another.
Cheers,
Bud

Beautiful plane. Filip. The additions you have made on the engine are really great. certainly the prop is the cherry on top.
