It is a very fine Camel. Finely weathered, too. Congratulations, Lance!

Thanks von B; "next" was cleaning up the debris and confusion on my work desk until early yesterday! I've been looking over the LVG from the more recent Duelist Release since then along with the References I have; I'm thinking seriously of starting that one as I like to have something on the go at all times.

Another Hall of Fame entry, Lance...beautiful work...cannot help but scroll and gawk....you've fastly become our resident Camel Meister...which, for me, is the best of all worlds.                                -M

Many thanks for the kind comments Doug. Wish your assignment of the term "Camel Meister" were true, maybe I'd stop breaking struts off of them! ::) :o

Thanks for looking Ed, and for the comments. As a general observation I judge the Royal Navy aircraft generally cleaner then the RFC/RAF aircraft in the bulk of photos available, so I try to follow that premise in my modelling. Strangely enough in 30+ years of flying in the RCAF I always admired the "clean" presentation of US Navy Fighters compared to ours as well ......... maybe something to do with the salt air?? ;)

Will that be a partial cutaway version by any chance Lance?

Stephen.

Not this one Stephen, however I'm dwelling on the idea. I'm thinking one of the other larger two seaters I have might fit that approach. I have the Rumpler, Hannover, or DFW to choose from and the Halberstadt is in development ....... no lack of nice subjects!

spectacular build, nice recovery on the strut issue.

weathering is particularly spot on. right kind, not too much, not too little.
