G'day from South Australia
« on: April 20, 2012, 04:55:13 PM »
Hey All,
Great to see a dedicated WW1 modelling forum standing up.
As an introduction, I am a mad Australian Flying Corps modeller and my builds can be seen here:  http://home.iprimus.com.au/carpo1/1_48_ww1_aircraft.html
I once modelled exclusively in 1/48 but WnW has altered my plans for the future.
A couple of my build articles can be seen at the Australian Society of World War One Aero Historians here: http://www.ww1aero.org.au/modelling.html
Best regards to all,
Carpo.

Nice F2.B in your gallery too.

Welcome to our special little group, Paul. Your models are spectacular, I note you have a lot of problems with rigging (NOT!!!) And in 1:48 Scale to boot! I can't imagine the eyestrain of completing that "Boxkite", simply mind boggling.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work, and hopefully some good tips and info.
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks all for the warm welcome and flattering words!
@Lance - not too much1/48 going on at the moment - maybe later in the year! Now in my 40s, I rely more and more on magnifiers to do the work!

@ Sean - are you going to Melbourne Expo this year? I might see you there! I always like to think I introduced Brad Cancian to WW1 - but I think he got into it because he knew he could do it so much better than me.....

HI Brad no Melbourne isn't on he calender this year. I'll be in Adelaide again though. Melbourne was just to close to Woolongongs show which I just attended in may. You and Brad are just amazing!
What are you taking to Melbourne ?
