time to paint...
first af all a white coat with tamiyas stripes



Then a mix of gunze H338 (very light grey) et a littlle bit od H45 (blue)



then a very diluated coast of white:







I work with blueish colors because I wanted to do contrast in white fabric without give a dirtyness impression.
mus and weathering will come later..

Hi everybody!
Aviatik's some news...
downside now.
I started with a grey base, and after the never ending taping work i get that (using Tamiya's XF-52 dark earth)



I choose this decoration :



This picture is taken in March of 1916 during the somme battle.
I like those early aviatik because they were the cross in the top of the wings.

I will perhaps use this to represent the dragon cavalier...


My first malta crosses!






just after I did this work I discovered a new picture of this plane.

just to see that the crosses in downside were not in the top of the wings...
I decided not to correct this error, too much work!



Then I went on with the radiator.
Most of Aviatik C.1 had the radiator up on the engine , just under the wing



But as we can see in this pic, it is not the plane I represent case. Early Aviatik were equiped with "Hazet" Radiator in both side of the fuselage.



I had to scratch it





Here is final result:

I love the modifications you're doing on this little beauty, backdating it to the earlier version.  The radiator looks fantastic!
