As the others have said, thank you Adrienne and Dave.  I don't think you will have to worry about support from this group.

This is a great website and forum resource for ww1 modellers, its an appropriate tribute for Des that it continues. Many thanks Dave and thank-you to Adrienne especially for letting it continue.

I can only agree with what’s been written above.

It’s the perfect tribute to Des.

Having only just become aware of and read this thread through I can only echo all the sentiments and encouragement so far expressed. Whilst my current building activity is absolutely minimal my interest is still very much there and look in most days.

My thanks then to Adrienne for it's continuance and to Dave for stepping up to carry the flame - what better tribute to Des could there be. It will be a while yet before I build again I'm afraid but I will continue to visit and hopefully in the not too distant future participate again.

My very best wishes for a long and successful future to you both

My heartfelt thanks to Adrienne for deciding to continue the legacy of this great forum and to you Dave for taking on the responsibility of administering the daily activities of the forum.  I can only echo what others have posted here and adding that it is a large part of my routine.  Through it I have met great people in person and only on line.  To quote Jamo:  "Good on you!"
