It would seem that the stock of SE.5s has finally run out. Listed as Sold Out on WnWs site. Probably some left at other suppliers though...

being late to the game, and having a pretty good idea what i want to build in the long run (i'm OCD enough to have worked it all out on a spreadsheet), i made a conscious choice to pass on the SE5a to get a Pfalzie, an Albatriology, and a Junkers J.1. The J.1 appears to be quite low in stock, but unsurprisingly sells more slowly. it may be next...

The Hanants stock seem to have been depleated – but MBK (Modellbau Koenig of Germany) still have them listed as in stock http://www.modellbau-koenig.de/Filter/Ihr_Suchergebnis_10.htm?n_prod=183&n_pg=2&n_dis=0&n_srt=7&n_ipp=25

They also claim stock of "more than 5" of the Pfalz DIIIa and the Jasta 5 trilogy...

It may have been a slow seller however it was a good seller apparently. It's far to "iconic" to just fade away, I believe it will return in different packaging, probably a "Duellist" format at some time. I have one in reserve as well, probably destined for Arthur Rhys David's colors. It's a really great Kit that I enjoyed building. As long as von Buckle continues with his pleas for a DR.1 / F.1 Kit the odds will remain high that a Duellist version will appear!

The Roden kit, and more so the Encore version are viable options but.... Having screwed the Pooch while Mounting the wings on my Encore build I purchased 2 of the WNW kits. One Is completed as Rhys Davids Machine and the other is destined to be McCuddens 4863 using the Encore conversion. That being said I too see a Duelist or some "Special Version" being released... but not soon. The kit took forever to sell out after all

Like I said in the WNW Annual Speculation thread, Either this kit was one of the worst WNW sellers or they produced a HUGE Run! JMHO of course.

having previewed inventory through the maximum order thingy on WNW (when it was working)... around the end of December they had 12 J.1s, 32 Hissos, and 4 Pfalzies. they still have J.1s. based on this, i suspect a huge run, though they didn't do themselves too many favors with the markings options.
