Fokker E.V - Stefan Stec (1/72, Arma Hobby)
« on: January 11, 2018, 04:53:55 AM »
The model of the first Polish fighter aircraft, captured by Poznan insurgents in early 1919, assembled and sent to Lwów to support Polish forces defending this city against Ukrainian assault. It was given to the former A-H fighter pilot Stefan Stec, who together with Stefan Bastyr formed the backbone of 7th Squadron. The model depicts the aircraft as it was delivered from Warsaw before Stec adorned it with his personal emblems.

What a gorgeous little gem, Przemo!  Magnificent work all around, but I'm especially impressed with that tiny prop and hub.  Brilliant!
Cheers,
Bud

It's hard to believe this little beauty is 1:72 Prze. Like all of your subjects in that scale the detail and quality of the finish indicate something larger! Very very nice! 8) 8) 8)

Very nicely done at this scale (or any other).  Looks much bigger than 1/72,  :D

I enjoyed watching your build of this little gem. You have done your usual excellent work on this one! This could be on my to buy list , in no small part due to your build.

What I particularly like about your models is that you present us with well known machines but in Polish colours,  in which form I suspect most of us have seen only rarely. They give your models a unique look which I really like as I am in favour of anything whichis slightly unfamiliar.

A superb model which as has already been commented, could easily be mistaken for something very much larger.

Stephen.

Thanks, Rick. And do not hesitate, it is truly a top class kitset, ensures a lot of enjoyment.

Thanks, Stephen. Building usual aircraft models in unusual colours is exactly what I like. I am glad you like such attitude, too. But then, you are known for building spectacular models of less known aircraft - that is something special!

Many thanks, Ed!

That looks great! I build the Roden one a few years ago, and it seems that Arma Hobby have captured things Roden did not, such as the underside stiching and control handle, and a few other things.
The only thing I might mention is that the trailing edges of the elevators look a bit thicker than those of the Roden model, but other than that I think it is a big improvement over the Roden model...
