Not knocking HGW, but waiting for Pheon to get the rest of their Camel decals out and then make a choice.

looks like they're intended to supplement or replace the kit decals, and don't offer any new aircraft. Rowan has suggested Pheon's got some new markings in the works...

According to Ondras Fokker E I build log that's something entirely new: Decals without any decal film. You remove the film after placing the decal. I for myself am curious and will give it a try...

I have used these kind of decals for a 1/48 Fw-190 build, they are great to use.
They really look painted on, not as decals at all. I find them very usufull for stencils and such, national markings I would prefer to spray with a mask.
But they are the kit's decal options. If you want something else/better you would need the Pheon sets

So a great method/process but just lift the research from WNW or are all these machines fairly well documented?

i'll definitely look into these for the ones i intend to build out of the box, like MacLaren's bus.
