It would make me smile a great deal if it were an Avro 504K or a Morane Saulnier AI. ;D

A Nieuport 11 or Fokker D.VIII would be lovely too.

one thing i'd bet a stack of chips (or kits) on: it ain't a duellists or trilogy boxing.

why? the number is 32065.

so far every duelist boxing starts with 328, and the trilogy with 327.

it'll be *one* aircraft, whatever it is. i'm hoping for a DH.4, but just about anything will make me happy enough, especially if it's never been kitted in 1/32.

Sorry but I guess I was not clear on my thought. What I meant was a DR1/F1 as the In Development kit. That would set up the possibility of the "Later" Duelist release  :o

PS: Still think it will be a two seater of some kind, probably German.

It wont be a duelist I know, just my wishful thinking, I think it will be German and i have to agree with others a DR1 / F1. Pity as a DH4 would be pretty awesome.

Nope....agreed.....pretty doubtful it's a Duelist set but if...IF...it were, seems like the ultra hot ticket might be an RE8/ DV(a)....but ditto on the wishful thinking....especially with the RE.

And if you were right, RAGIII, my bet is on a Halberstadt Cl.II. (Although my hopes are more on the allied side..)

Has WNW done this before? That a new model would be announced at a show ? If not, then I would go with the Fokker Triplane, if so then anything German.

Even though I am hoping for a Be.2 I am leaning towards it being a Fokker Dr.1 or maybe even a Nieuport.

I think people are setting themselves up for another round of feeling misled by WNW. The company has stated that a new model will be announced at the Nuremburg show, but many people have convinced themselves that WNW has said that a kit will be released in February. I see it all over the modelbuilding forums. I am not assuming that the kit will be available in February, but that we will be given information as to when to expect in the same manner as the Taube was announced and released.

The whole WETA mess was the result of people re-interpreting what they had been told. In a way it worked out well, by forcing WNW to start using regular model distributors, but a lot of individuals still seem to think that WNW deceived them in some way.

I mentioned  a while back that it was quite a while between the reveal of the Taube and its release. You are correct in not assuming it will be ready for purchase.

What new kit(s) did WNW release in '17? I seem to remember the Camel and Taube.

While not new, the "Jasta 5" triplets and Fokker D.VII (Early) were welcome reissues.

So, new is the Dolphin, Taube, and Camel(s), and the LVG re-pop, creative re- release of the Albie, and a filling in of the holes DVII. All in all not bad, certainly enough to keep one building.

........  and to be fair, the Camel(s) are, count them, 5 different packages! No complaints from this happy little camper!
