Wingnut Wings announces a new model
« Reply #15 on: December 22, 2017, 09:41:11 PM »
Since it is being announced in Germany, Nuremburg Toy Fair, I'm thinking a German aircraft. Freidrichshafen G.III  - dreams can come true. Anyway, a Be2 or some other aircraft out of left field that we didn't see coming are my two guesses. A Hanriot after that. Would love to see a French or A-H aircraft.

I am not very happy to disappoint all of you. But there's absolutely no doubt that it will be a Halberstadt Cl. II. Sorry folks!

I Love getting back to guessing the next release. I have a feeling it will be a two seater of some kind, probably German.  8)

It will be interesting to see the reveal! Your wallets will most likely be safe for a while though. Remember how long the Taube took after the announcement!

I’m with you Borsos. Or a Halberstadt Cl.IV would be great.

Cheers

It will probably be a Fokker E.V/D.VIII since I've recently bought the MikroMir kit and a bunch of extras including the just-released Aviattic cowling.  :)

Could be as I have a Mikro Mir Kit in the Stash as well. Having completed the Avis kit adds to the probability as well  ::)

Now I can plan for my Spad 13C1 - Hannover Cl. III “The Duellists” set.

+1 on the guessgame! :)

I hope for an Albatros C.VII :)
But I would not say no to a Breguet 14, Spad XIII or Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter either! :)

Jeroen

PS Unlikely, but I'd love a Maybach engined Rumper, too! :)

I'm thinking maybe an Albatros D-III.  Lots of marking options, a lot were made, equipped many Jastas, flown at one time or
another by most of the aces.  Just so many reasons this needs to be kitted by WNW.

I like Jeroen's selection of the C.VII.  However, my bets are Halberstadt Cl.II, BE2c or e, and Halberstadt D.II/III; Win-Place-Show.

Yes, a BE.2 or a Phönix
Hey, Manni, how do you put those two little dots above the o in Phonix? (and yes, yes, yes, a 1/32 Pho"nix D1 would be hotly embraced...by you and me, anyway)

Has anyone actually ever called it right yet?

It'll be whatever hasn't been mentioned on this thread... ;D

The Halberstadt DIII would be of interest to me. Lots of Jasta 4 schemes from the early days!
