I struggle with that as well.

The close up lens can be very cruel!

Your continued pursuit of excellence is amazing! I see No issues even enlarged that I would have a problem with  ::)

Thnx Rick..!!
Comforting to know btw that I am not the only one struggling with the close up pics...
To the eye, the subject looks good, once posted and blown up like crazy, eeehhh...it looks slightly different and one wonders "what went wrong here"... ;D

That seat looks really comfortable, so Frank will have to wait until I have had a chance to warm it! And please would you be kind enough to crank the propellor and start the engine for me when I take it up on its first flight?

Such detail....and I do not see any problem with the rudder bar either.

Stephen.

Okay, somewhere on the forum ( I do not no anymore who, where and the subject involved), a topic about covering the prop blade tip with metal, it was a four blade prop, that I do recall.
Anyhow, it inspired me to try something my self.
I used alu sheet - 0,11 mm - ( used by book printers way back in the past).
I annealed it with a torch for a very short time ( other wise the alu will melt).
Cut to shape, glued on with epoxy and let it dry for a while.
Fine sanding completed the process, rivet with a fine needle ( this was done in a hurry, no fine sequence)
After annealing, the alu is very malleable.

The prop is 1/48 scale, home made, but rejected.

Back to the Aviatik...
