Mark 1 tank 1/72 scale
« on: October 09, 2017, 05:46:53 AM »
Evening all,

It's been a while since I posted any modelling on here; in fact I haven't done much at all and because of the Great Photobucket swindle of 2017, all of my aircraft builds are lost but here is something I built only last month.

It's a Master Box 1/72 kit of a Mark 1 Female tank, painted in Somme, 1916 condition. I went to visit the Tank Museum, at Bovington and couldn't resist buying a kit to build. I've a feeling it won't be the last WW1 tank that I build...

Here it is churning up my airfield!

Really nice. I love these Mark I tanks. You got the Camouflage really well as far as I can say.

There is a book "Tanks at Flers" which is a detailed account of the first tanks in combat.
