So is that the final camo on this Aviatik?

I thought you had to use the dots to blend them into a mottled livery...

Do you have a picture of that schema?

Well yes I do have just one photo from Japo and this draft

Obviously dots representation is not of real one from photo, but still trying to be within the line of the outlook:)
Dots were made using toothpick with cotton wool at the end. I just prepared couple of them in advance. To avoid thick layer of them I have used Vallejo and they are diluted by default
