Amazing transformation from those raw parts to your finished engine and anterior.

I keep scrolling back to the beginning of your post to look at the very basic bits the Kit supplies you with and marvel at the results you are producing; great modelling and your efforts are paying off already!
Cheers,
Lance

To Albatros1234:
Yes, you are right, the kit is not perfect. The fuselage is shorter than the required one by 6 mm! I extended it. About the engine: yes i familar to thos kits, HR Models Hansa Brandenburg also have it.
But i thougt maybe there is any aftermarket engine (resin or tin) on market.

I had not realised that this was a vacuform until I looked more closely at the photos. I simply could not believe that you produced that engine and interior from the kit parts - you must have scratch built as much as you took from the kit! Indeed I am left wondering if it would have been easier to just scratch build the whole thing?! Master-craft modelling here and no mistake.

I admire your resolution to work on such a mediocre kit, when there are so many fine kits around (I know, I know, not of this subject :)).
Especially what you got from those crap engine elements is astonishing! Great modelling!

Thank you it's a pleasure to get such a complements from all of you.
Some progress: the fuselage is closed and extended by 6mm. New lozenge drewed.
Thank you.

My stash is full of "frendly to use modes" but some how for me now is more interesting to build kits from DIY kind.

Great work, again. But one piece of advice, if I may be so bold - please, do something with those exhaust pipes...

looks great . sierra makes some of the best vacuform kits but the ufag is one of there most inaccurate. you are doing good work to correct these mistakes. i actually like vacs. its a blank slate which allows you to build how it really was. many injection kits besides the ejector pin marks you have to fix sometimes the interior framing is not historical etc. i like how the fuselage is scale in thickness instead like many injection they make the plywood shell 6 scale inches thick so you have to taper edges of cowls etc to fool the eye to thinking it is made from sheet metal and fabric. i will enjoy your progress.

Great build so far! You spend a huge effort on this kit parts, so the result is impressive!

I also like to mention the SpecialHobby Phönix in 1/48, your biplane looks like a licence build. May be with taken parts of the other kit could save effort. One example is the fantastic resin part for the water cooler in the SH kit, which looks the same on your machine. See my Phönix D.I here:
