Well with a WnW W.12 on order and the wireframe guide just completed I'm thinking my next challenge will be painting Naval Hex ! Once the kit arrives I'll be sure to look you up for some turnbuckle things.
@IanB - That's a good call as light on this one is my biggest concern. I could waffle on about cast shadow being darker than areas in the shade, that I was try to suggest the translucent nature of fabric wings as opposed to the solid wings of modern aircraft, or that I was allowing for reflected light off of the sea, but the reality is without a visual guide it's very subjective. Photos often make areas in shadow look darker than they are in reality and perhaps I over compensated for that here.
