My most recent completion; Eduard 1:48 Hanriot HD.1
« on: June 25, 2017, 04:09:28 AM »
This kit was one of the best Eduard kits I've put together. I had very little trouble with the wings aligning, and I also was able to modify the engine easily enough to represent the 110 Le Rhone 9J better, getting the intake tubes to the correct side of the cylinders. I'm very happy with how this one turned out, yet I must confess that I am not a strong modeller. my hands are too unsteady for proper rigging and painting, so I'm thrilled if I can at least make it recognizable!

Rhinebeck doesn't have one of these yet, but I do have full-scale plans for one so hopefully someday, if time and money allows, I can put a real one together and into the air!

A very attractive looking model Ian with a really eye-catching scheme, well done.
