Frank, I've never turned my hand to soldering but I cannot help but admire your skills. I guess that my Aviattic 1/32 Ansaldo might be the starting point for me. You mention some stripped down models in 1/72 that you've soldered - that sounds truly daunting.

Frank, I cannot agree more!  I've been alternately tempted and intimidated by this kit.  I wish I had the talent to tackle such a feat.  Utterly magnificent!
