Thanks folks!
A little more progress this week, in that the undercarriage on both has been rigged...

Unfortunately the Tripe's is slightly off centre, but it'll have to stay that way now....

I also got most of the Tripe's aileron rigging done. It just needs to be trimmed off. I made a bit of a mistake here, in that I assumed that the wires would continue over the horns and back to the ailerons. Unfortunately after looking at pics only the Pup's underside has this set up, so I now have to carefully tidy up the holes, which should have been done before adding the decals.

Thanks for looking in!

Ian

Terrific rigging Ian! The triplane was difficult in 1/32nd scale but you have nailed it in 1/72nd!

Thanks Rick!

Another brief update..... The tail rigging is also now done, and I've added the tail skid and rudder. That will be rigged tomorrow after it's had a good chance to set properly!

nearly there.....

That is super rigging Ian. Like the rest of the build it is difficult to appreciate that this is 1/72 (ie the True), scale.

Many thanks to Filip, Antonio, Rick, Ian and Stephen for the kind comments!

The Triplane is now finished! I added the last of the tail rigging this past week, then this morning I added the final bits - wheels, prop, pitot tube and windscreen. The latter was cut from clear plastic packaging, CA'd in place, then I ran the smallest brush I had around the edges to give it the padded leather look. Both were done at the same time, so the Pup also has her windscreen now.

Here's the screen being shaped. I left it attached to the main body of the plastic to make it easier to hold, then snipped it off and gave it a final clean up.

and here it is in place and painted

as you can see, I should have filled the indents in the fuselage for the cabane struts as they are too far inboard, but by the time I realised it was too late and I don't want to risk messing up the surrounding area to try to fill the gaps. It really isn't too noticeable in "real life", but just a tip for anyone else attempting this one!

and here she is, a few last touchups still needed but that's all.

The weather is very dull today, hopefully tomorrow will be sunny and I can get some decent pics and post her in the completed section.

As soon as I get the PE for the Pup I will continue with her.

Thanks for looking in!

Thanks Rick!

I finally got back to the bench this morning and finished off the control and tail rigging

She's sitting upside down now waiting for the wheels and tailskid to dry, so tomorrow I hope to complete the touchups and post the RFI pics!

Many thanks Rick,

 Here's the final result.....

She's now taken her place in the cabinet, replacing the rather sorry looking Airfix one, which has served its purpose well.

More pics in completed section, many thanks to all who have followed along and given encouragement!
