Done with the airbrush work!
Allmost went crazy with the masking tape for the ribs...













I did order some authentic paints from Misterkit PC-12 and Clear Doped Linen RFC/RAF but I wasn't happy with the nuances, so I ended up mixing my own blend for the RFC colors...

Is the ribbing effect all done with paint or decals? Or a combination of both? Terrific work BTW!

No decals, just hundreds of 0,8 mm masking tape strips cut by hand  :o They were placed and then airbrushed with different shades of light and dark mixes, both for the bottom and topsides, to make the surface come alive. I will be using some oils and washes when the decals have been placed.
