third party...
PE spokes from Tom's Modelworks set... Other tire made of resin shaping on dremel

fuselage ready

I made a wing portion using soft balsa wood. Then made a mould and copied four pieces. Tail surfaces shaped thick plastic sheet.

Wing parts cut and shaped acording to drawing then glued and primed .

fourth...
Before priming aligned wings and fuselage to set strut locations.

Lower wing aileron shown damadge on photos and I cut aileron structure and covered with cigarette paper which is very thin.

Structures ready for rigging...

jig made of foam . Easy and cheap but do not let the model long time otherwise...

foam may corrode paint  >:(

And finally some more for diorama...
First Rolls Royce came from storage . Old resin Resicast kit.

I used some ICM ANZAC figures as basic . I made some copies in resin and modified acording to photos as I can do.

Here is the final...

I hope you like it and thank you very much to all of you for kind comments  :)

Thank you for showing the build of the aircraft, simply amazing, and the completed diorama is brilliant, the painting of the aeroplane, vehicles and figures is superb.

Stunning work all around, Özkan!  The figures, the cars and especially that remarkable Elephant are top notch!

Very, very,  nice! Thanks for the pictures of the Elephant...could we have more of the diorama? Just being greedy, it looks so good I think you should show it off a little more!

Wonderful diorama Ozkan.  The vehicles are figures are first rate and really look the part.  The scratch built Elephant is just superb.  I learned a lot from your thorough build log.  Thanks!  Very well done.

Best regards,

Bob

Really fantastic build Ozkan!
When I saw original photo it became one of my "wish to build" in next... years?
I build only in 1/72 scale so I need a decent kit of the Elephant, I'm not good as you as scratchbuilder!
Many compliments, a great diorama well realized in every aspect!
Two questions:
 - from photo it seems that Elephant is without wheels or are they under the sand?
 - in internet there is an old debate about color of Turkish national insignia, black or red. I saw your beautiful Albatros D.III with red squares and this one with black, there is a rule? History?
Thank you for this beauty!
Roberto
