Encore Albatros D.II 'Boelcke' on sale at Squadron.com

Squadron.com is having another of their big sales. I just found the 1/32 Encore Albatros D.II 'Boelcke' on sale for $16.99 US. At that price I just bought another 2 for the stash. Just a heads up, I have no relation whatsoever. Wanted to pass along a good bargain. My apologies if this isn't the correct sub-forum.

Yeah $53 for postage to Austria. I'll give that one a miss.

Yes for some reason Squadron postage rates outside the US are famously ridiculously high. (My hunch is that they simply don't want to bother with the hassle of international orders -- seems stupid, maybe -- but I know of other retailers in other market segments that do exactly the same thing.)

So this is a win for us here in the USA, not so much for everyone else...

    At that price it's little wonder they went so quickly, heck of a good deal! I don't use Squadron anymore as their shipping is far too "rich' for my wallet and the order normally gets snagged by Canadian Border Services resulting in Duty and Brokers fees, same as the present Wingnut Wings system out of Wa.
