Happy New Year to all, from the home of Auld Lang Syne!
It may be of interest to any numismatists amongst us that the Royal Mint has unveiled some new coins for 2017 including a £2 coin commemorating the RFC in WWI.
The very attractive design shows an overhead view of what appears to be an RE8 over target with observer busily photographing what's below.
I'll look forward to having some in my pocket and I'll doubtless keep an example or two for posterity.
