I believe i built my first WW I aircraft when I was 11 or 12. I am now 58. The plane was the Airfix Arvo 504 which I did the Night Fighter conversion soon followed by the Airfix Albatros DV. After that i did the rest of the Airfix and revell lines then about 20 years ago I decided I was going to build one of each WW I aircraft. So I drew up a list of WW I aircraft and look through the model catalogs and bought them. Also lets just say i have plenty of time to build them and I don't think any of them will win any modeling contests.

Incredible James, I did a quick count at over 80, that's impressive to say the very least! You can be very proud of a collection such as this!

I am glad to see you all like my collection. It took me awhile to build them all. I have just got the new Airfix Be2c in 1/72 one day I will build it and post a picture of it here one day. as a girl friend of mine once said after looking at my model collection some years ago "you need to get a life"
