1/72 Revell Fokker D.VII Jasta 19 (fictional)
« on: November 21, 2016, 04:33:39 AM »
I had some decals left over from doing the Udet Albatros and an old Revell kit taking up space. Seemed like only the right thing to do was put them together. So, after a few months of tinkering while playing episodes of NCIS in the background, I managed to knock off another model for the gaming table. I didn't have any of the popular decals for the Jasta 19 scheme for pilot insignias, so I grabbed a panther image and slapped it on the side. One day, I'll have to become an artist and make my own images and make everyone happy.
Anyway,
Here are a few pictures:

Thanks for looking,

John

John,
As always you have come up with a cool scheme,( Love the personal Marking), and turned a very basic kit into a cool gaming bird!

Looks fine to me too. Got a few myself that sport more or less proper colours/camouflage but the individual markings are fictional.

Looking good -my wife did the Revell D.VII a few years ago just to see what I liked so much about building model airplanes, and it's still a nice kit to build. Yours looks good! :)

Thanks Gregory, Jeroen, Ed, and Bud. Much appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply, I've been away from the forums and modeling on house projects. Hope to return soon!
