Marked For Death by James Hamilton-Paterson

I've just finished reading this https://www.amazon.com/Marked-for-Death/dp/1784970409/ref=sr_1_1_twi_pap_3?ie=UTF8 and felt I had to recommend it. To be honest I'd never have bothered with yet another version of the world war one in the air story had I not read the author's previous book Empire of the Clouds, which I enjoyed very much.
This one is also well very written and although it's a story we're all well acquainted with, he touches on subjects not often mentioned e.g., the medical effects on flyers in WW1 and the civil unrest in London duing the air-raids. Well worth a read.
