New Copper State Models 1/48 scale figures!
« on: October 08, 2016, 09:02:31 AM »
These little rascals arrived in the mail about a week ago, but I've been too busy to take any pictures and start this thread.  Sorry, Edgar!

You can tell that they've been downsized from the 1/32 scale figures, as the detail is astonishing.  Beyond anything I've yet seen in 1/48 scale.
Let me apologize in advance for the crappy pics.  I'll take more later.
First, the British Pilot:

Next, the Russian Pilot:

The RNAS Pilot:

Finally, the RFC Pilot:

Now, I have to learn how to paint these things.  Any advice?
Cheers,
Bud

Are the ice skates WWI era?  ;)
Aren't they chic?  Figure skating, maybe?  Too tall for hockey.
Cheers,
Bud

Those figures look really nice! Start with the one with the scarf over the face, less flesh tones to work out!

Just saw this - ordered the Russian for a future Nieuport in Russian colors and the British pilot.

You won't be disappointed, Charlie.  I can't paint figures to save my life, but these are the best in 1/48 scale I've ever seen.
