Thank you, Edo.

Some more steps FORWARD!  :)

The upper wing jumped on. I decided that fitting the wing to 12 struts at one run would be too much for me. So I only used cabane and outermost ones first and put the upper wing on without the mid-span ones. When glue dried I rigged the cabanes and 4 outermost stagger lines. Then I slipped in the remaining 4 struts (with pins slightly trimmed to ease the process) and rigged their 4 stagger lines, too.

And now it is all about rigging! Two inner bays have now their landing wires and four inner flying wires. And I have enough for the day.  ;)

I had one and sold it on but wish I hadn't now.

Lovely work, and very inspiring! I started one of these kits (in tandem with another WnW German 2-seater) and am following your build as a guide.
Cheers,
Gary

Awesome work, my friend.  The rigging is superb.

Thank you very much, gentlemen.

Now the main rigging is completed, with aileron controls included. But there are still two drag lines missing. Those, however, will be possible to attach only together with side cowling panels as the lines pass through inspection holes.

And the time has come for the engine. As usual, what WNW propose in their kit is decent but there is always some room for amendments. I have noticed the lacking round inspection holes in the front of the crankcase. Some work on it has just started with two slices of a sprue attached. They will be still substantially trimmed down and rings with bolt heads added (probably two pieces from a PE bezel set by HGW will do).

I also plan to add 24 electric wires, a missing water line (?) on the firewall, a few air tubes, oil tank drain, etc. And there must be a fuel supply to the carbs but this is still an enigma for me, as no photo of Rolls Royce Falcon mounted in a Brisfit which I consulted shows these fuel lines clearly. Any help here would be more than welcome!

Thanks, Steve.
Quickly you say? Well, once everything was prepared, the assembly really goes quick. But those preparations were almost killing me.

Terrific job as always!  May I ask what you used for the rigging?

Thanks,
Eric

Have not dropped in recently and this model seems to be nearly complete! As usual you are making a superb rendition of the original - your attention to detail is terrific - "just a few extra details to the engine compartment….." Good understatement if ever I read one!!

Stephen.

Thank you, senhores.
Krow, now I remember admiring your amazing Biff some time ago. Thank you for the heads up, WNW truly misplaced the spark plugs location. I think I will redo them to the correct locations, more off the cylinder blocks axes. The more I look at the photos, the more missing bits emerge. It is not going to be a quick build.
