My small diorama entry...Oswald Boelcke (1/32 from Model Cellar) and fuel cart (Aviattic).  Figure painted with oils, cart with acrylics and oils.

Very nicely done Kreston. By coincidence I just ordered one of the Aviattic Fuel Carts less then an hour ago for my entry, I'll be checking on your finish here for sure. Quick question if I may, do the pump and hose fittings have optional mounts on the side and/or end of the barrel? Yours is configured differently then the illustration in the web site catalogue?
Cheers,
Lance

Thanks for the comments.

Lance, there are no optional mounts.  I did a Google search for fuel carts and found a pic I liked and just copied the position of the hose.

Great. The figure is just beautiful painted, the fuel cart is superb and the groundwork is stunning, too.

There's nothing I could add, besides of: Boelke in bulky flying clothes leaning on a fuel cart - that's a really appealing and fresh approach on showing one of the famous "heroes". I like it really much and it looks much more interesting than all those "polished medals, freshly washed parade uniform"-heroic poses.

A great representation of this figure. The scene works very well and begins to tell a story.

Nice. Good  Boelcke likeness and groundwork convincingly typical of a muddy airfield. I like it a lot.

Kreston,

Wow, what a cool little vignette!  The refueling cart looks GREAT.  ...and I really like how you have finished our Boelcke figure.  You really bring it to life =).

regards,
Paul
