 Russell,
LOL my old friend. No doubt in my mind if anyone could pull it off Des could. Isn't that a Caproni (Spelling ??) Got to hand to those Italian engineers, oddball and awesome.

Oh, yes! The Caproni CA.60
But it flew just a couple of yards on the Lago Maggiore.

But I think it is a good project for Des. I might push his skills even more than they already are.

Yes Gregory, as you suggested it's a Caproni & as Manni wrote it's a CA.60.

The only floating hotel to fly a couple of yards.

Well if not a model from Des - what are the odds of it being the WnW surprise Christmas release?  ;)

Russell

Great idea and definitely within Des' capability. But what I would want to know is when WNW will get round to one and some idea of the likely cost.

Best wishes
Nigel

This particular aircraft passed by me a few years ago, but size is the major factor especially in 1:32 cale.

Well, now that you've displayed your skills at 1/48 scale....  ;)

Then welcome to 1/72 scale Des….

I have seen photos of this in 1/72 somewhere - scratch built of course, and the modeller made a fine job of it. Goodness knows how long it took him to build.

I just look at all those struts and have nightmares regardless of the scale, it would be an awesome project though.
