Well, either 1967 or 1968, I don't remember, but I guess that I was 8 or 9 years old. I think it would have been the Eldon 1/72 kits because I do remember that the Albatros & D.VII were molded in shades of red & Spad was possibly olive?
I have finally built up the courage to post what I have been working on for the past 3 months or so. I want to thank all who post here because have learned so much from each & every one of you, but I still have much more to learn.
Seat cushion made from styrene.

The control stick was made from styrene & wire & the bulkhead behind the seat from paper soaked in superglue.

Various pumps, MG support & tach made from styrene & wire.

Interior wood grain is a combination of watercolor pencils, enamel washes & the usual Tamiya colored clears.

I used tracing paper to represent the canvas wrapped around the tail skid. Thread for the bungee cord.

Water color pencils & Tamiya colored clears were used on the propeller & axle faring.

Other parts, still need more paint & detailing.

I think that I'm ready to close it up. After building cars for the last 15 years, this is so foreign to me to paint the exterior AFTER the interior is installed. Hopefully, I'll make it through.
Once again, thanks to you who post here, you've helped me tremendously.
