Not seen CDL transfers before - these look smashing to say the least. Very effective all round - especially the see through effect. This is a really interesting log - great.

Thank you, Manni, Bob and Stephen!  The fabric decals can be found here:  http://www.aviattic.co.uk/linen-effect-decals.html  Give 'em a try, Stephen.  They're amazing.
Cheers,
Bud

Thank you, Filip!  I think a combination of shades would look fantastic on your Caudron.  I'm really excited about that one.
Cheers,
Bud

Thank you, Sasho, Terri and Andreas!  This one is going to be a very slow project.  Due to the lack of any real instructions, a lot of time is spent going over the drawings and trying to figure out a workable sequence.  The hull is very sturdy, but the wing attachments and the tail assembly are rather frail, so I'm doing as much painting, decaling and weathering as possible before putting everything together.
I've added most of the pe surface detail to the hull and added the decals.

The pe was tricky.  I kept knocking bits off while handling and had to reglue many of them.
I also did a little weathering on the tail pieces.

And scuffed up the bottom a bit.

Next up, putting the tail together.
Cheers,
Bud

Great job, Bud, the weathering on the CDL looks excellent!

I also admire your patience on going through all the drawings and photographs. Obviously well worth the effort, looking at the result!

Cheers
