Wow Rick, looking great, really happy you decided to revisit this kit.  Absolutely looking forward to your treatment on this red beauty.   ;D

Thanks Juan. I appreciate the comment and your continued support!

I love the SE5a and the colour on the Triplane looks great. I look forward to seeing the next instalment.

Thanks for the comment and dropping in on my builds, greatly appreciated!

Thanks Amigo!

I have gone a bit further with this one. I painted on the chips then masked with Valejo liquid mask. I then applied the serial numbers and painted over with the Valejo red. I peeled off the mask then applied the crosses.

PS: Some might remember that I said I lost ALL of the Cutting Edge decals to the Coffee incident. It seems that the 425/17 decals were in another box so I was able to continue with the original plan ;D

If you wouldn't have told us, no one would realize that this is the repair of a mishap. You erased all such traces and fixed everything perfectly.

I echo Andreas' comment: nobody could tell that you had managed to tip a load of coffee over this. I am really pleased that you have picked this up again and are taking it to completion as it is a first class model.

Awesome, Rick, that red really really looks great! I swore once never to build a red Triplane (again), but you make me rethink that...
